On Saturday 18th February 2017
Highland Car Club will host the opening round of the 2017 Scottish Rally Championship. We would be delighted if you could come and help make the event possible by marshalling.
To help ensure a safe, enjoyable and competitive day of motorsport we need volunteer Marshals for:
· Stage Arrivals
· Stage Starts
· Flying Finishes
· Stop Lines
· In-Stage Marshals at Junctions and Chicanes
· Spectator Area Safety
Every volunteer will receive a Goody Bag, including a free programme and Snowman bunnet, and also entry into our Marshals Prize Draw. There will be an MSA-approved Training Day before the event, planned for Saturday 28th January in Inverness
, as well as two informal drop-in evenings with internet access to help you through the MSA Marshals Accreditation scheme. Keep an eye on your Inbox, our web site and Facebook for full details.
For 2017, why not bring along a new Marshal to learn the ropes with an experienced crew? Young Cadet Marshals are very welcome too - as long as they are 11 or older we can find a safe and supervised role for everyone.
Are you competing in 2017? Please bring along an extra pair of hands to Marshal - our rally cannot run without the 250+ volunteers we need to help you enjoy your day in the forests. Are you NOT competing in 2017? Now’s your chance to give something back to motorsport – instead of spectating, get yourself registered and help make the day a success for everyone.
Come and JOIN us, get CLOSE to the action, and get INVOLVED in rallying – it’s a great day out, and it’s FREE!
